RECORDINGS
The Thirteen Strings Chamber Orchestra's first recording was a 1992 performance of Srul Irving Glick's Divertimento for String Orchestra, appearing on Srul Irving Glick. Available on the CBC Records/Musica Viva Label (Catalog: MVCD 1046).
In 1995 the orchestra appeared with Catherine Robbin, mezzo sorprano, on a full-length CD titled Catherine Robbin: Handel, Scarlatti, Vivaldi. The disc featured three 18th century works: Handel's Lucrezia, Vivaldi's Nisi Dominus, and Scarlatti's Salve Regina. The recording has sold out.
In 1996 the orchestra marked its 20th anniversary with the release of Forgotten Dreams. The title track was composed for the occasion by John Burge. The CD included reflective works from the 17th through the 20th centuries. Available on the Can Soma label (Catalog: CAM 9503).
